Peter grew up in Bolton, Ontario and moved to Vancouver seeking to be closer to the mountains and ocean. He graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors in Human Kinetics and a minor in Neuroscience and went on to complete my Masters in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University.

Since graduating, he completed the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy portion in the Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapy (GCOMPT) program at UBC and is working to becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2021. Peter has also completed my AN-IMS 1 training, allowing him to perform dry needling.

Peter has always wanted to work in a medical field following his passion for science and helping people who need it most. The application of movement and exercise in a health-care context made Physiotherapy a perfect fit. As someone who participated in multiple sports growing up, including soccer, skiing and mountain biking, injuries were a big part of his life. This resulted in working closely and learning from various Physiotherapist’s, inspiring him by the impact they had in helping to treat his injuries, as well as how drastically they changed his lifestyle for the better.

Peter is passionate about ongoing education and has a long time goal of teaching in the future. Outside of work, he is either traveling, or trying to stay active by hiking, climbing, mountain biking, or playing soccer or volleyball in the city. Come winter time, Peter tries to get out skiing as often as he can.
