What to expect from Occupational Therapy support
You will met with one of our Occupational Therapists to discuss your concerns and worries about your child’s day-to-day function. Collaboratively, you will identify goals that target your concerns and create a plan that meets you and your child’s needs. Each plan is individually designed and adjusted utilizing parent coaching, mentoring and direct intervention. OTs typically think about 3 areas:
Productivity/School
Self-Care
Play
.Interventions can take place in pools, parks, mountains, rinks, malls, schools. It is your child’s and family journey - let’s find out where it takes you.
